Program Overview

The program offers students the chance to participate in summer language courses hosted by German universities. These courses cover general German language skills, alongside cultural and regional studies, helping students build a strong foundation in both communication and context.


Scholarship Benefits

Selected students will receive comprehensive financial support to attend the summer courses:

  • One-time scholarship of €1,192
  • Students from Least Developed Countries are awarded €1,367
  • Country-specific travel allowance (based on DAAD’s travel allowance list)
  • Health, accident, and personal liability insurance coverage during the stay
  • Minimum course duration: 18 teaching days.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in any field of study.
  • Undergraduate applicants must have completed at least two academic years at the time of the scholarship start.
  • Be eager to improve their German language proficiency and gain insight into German life and academia.
