Who Can Apply?
KMU welcomes applications from:
- International Students (Non-R.O.C. passport holders) under the Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan.
- Overseas Chinese Students, including applicants from Hong Kong or Macao, with long-term residency abroad.
- Mainland China Students must apply through the University Entrance Committee for Mainland Chinese Students.
Eligibility by Program Level
- Undergraduate: A senior high school diploma from an overseas or Taiwanese bilingual school, verified by the Taiwan Ministry of Education (MOE).
- School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine: A recognized Bachelor’s degree and proof of admission through an international student channel.
- Master’s: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, verified and recognized by the MOE.
- Ph.D.: A Master’s degree or higher, recognized by the MOE and verified by Taiwan’s R.O.C. representative office.
Application Dates – Spring Intake 2026
The application period for Kaohsiung Medical University’s Spring Intake 2026 begins on July 10, 2025, at 9:00 AM Taiwan Time and will remain open until October 9, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
The eligibility review of applicants will take place from July to November 2025, followed by the departmental evaluation phase scheduled from October 15 to November 12, 2025. Admission results will be officially announced on December 4, 2025, and successful candidates are expected to enroll in February 2026.

- Create a personal account and select your desired degree program (undergraduate, master’s, or Ph.D.). You may apply to up to 3 programs.
- Carefully fill out the form, agree to the application terms, and upload the required documents.
- Print, sign, and re-upload the application form.
- Submit two referees for each program.
- Finalize and submit your application before the deadline.
